Panama holiday and honeymoons; An expert guide to Panama
Panama is frequently described as "Central America's best-kept secret" due to its rich history, incredible natural beauty and an astounding degree of biodiversity. For many, the relatively undeveloped tourism industry, the low number of visitors, and the warm and welcoming Panamanians make this the highlight of the Isthmus.
Fronting two oceans, Panama has some pristine beaches with crystal clear waters, white sand, coral reefs and coconut palm trees. More than half the country is covered by dense tropical rainforest and you only have to travel a few miles out of Panama City to see monkeys, sloth’s and even the elusive harpy eagle. If you are passionate about birding this really is the place to be with over nine hundred bird species – more than in Costa Rica or in the whole of North America.

This is without doubt one of the most exciting and cosmopolitan cities in Latin America – there is an infectious energy to the place which is driven by the optimism and rich cultural brew of the Panamanian people.
Bocas Del Toro Archipelago
Consisting of 6 larger islands and almost 200 tiny uninhabited islets, the archipelago is a maze of jungle covered islands, with pristine beaches, surrounded by some of the best-preserved hard and soft corals on the planet.
San Blas Archipelago
The archipelago gives you an opportunity to visit the villages of the San Blas Indians to learn about the fascinating Kuna culture and snorkel around picture-perfect tropical islands covered with white sand and coconut trees.
El Valle
Two hours by car from Panama City, El Valle is nestled in the second largest volcanic crater in the world. It is a great escape from the heat of Panama City offering excellent; hiking, nature tours, birding, and its famous local markets.
Soberania
Bordering the central part of the Panama Canal and park protects some 19,500 hectares of lowland tropical forest in the Atlantic watershed and is a world famous destination among birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts alike.
