Just wanted to let you know that we loved our trip to Belize. All of it was wonderful - thank you so much. Am really glad we did San Ignacio and ended up changing 2nd excursion to do the cave trip but the ranch and the horse ride up the mountain was amazing, we had superb views of the whole valley. Would recommend it to anyone. Anyway, hope one day to go back to Central America and will definitely be in touch when I do so!! Can you give me a ring, please, when you get the chance. I want to thank you personally for organizing our honeymoon earlier this year. I have been singing the praises of Mayan Odyssey to all my friends. I am a real cynic when it comes to customer service because everyone talks about it but rarely deliver it. However, I cannot thank you enough for the customer service you gave us – the whole trip was perfectly organized, nothing went wrong at all, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and all of the guides and reps you used in Guatemala were outstanding (please pass our thanks on to them). We were met at each stage of our trip as promised and couldn’t have been looked after any better than we were. The hotel and setting at Lake Atitlan was simply perfect – we couldn’t have imagined anything so perfect to start our homeymoon – exactly what we needed, nothing but rest and sleep and the most amazing food I have ever tasted. I can say that about Guatemala as a whole – the quality of food was way beyond my expectations. I have not been satisfied in London since because nothing remotely compares to what I ate in there! We are now both absolute converts to anything Belizean and cannot wait to go back and explore more of the country. We cannot thank you enough for making it the most amazing and perfect holiday we have ever had. I attach some trip notes - no complaints at all - but perhaps a few things you need to be aware of. The trip exceeded our expectations and we cannot speak too highly about the staff at Viaventura - very professional guides and very careful drivers. We received more attention than we had expected. If I can answer any queries please let me know. We had a wonderful time on Honeymoon. Everything ran like clock-work out there and the guides were lovely people. We really didn't have to think for ourselves from the moment we arrived in Costa Rica. San Jose was interesting & the hotel's location was incredible - hard to believe it's actually so quiet but slap bang in the middle of the city. Arenal was a great adventure and the back-drop for the hot springs you couldn't ask for more. Have I said the sun shone for almost the entire trip. Monteverde was also sun-soaked and took your breath away. On the Osa Peninsula meeting the inidigenous folk an unforgettable experience. They gave us a little wedding gift too. And finally the Jungle where we met some lovely people and a sloth who'd been up his tree for 3 weeks apparently. All in all it was fantastic. Just a quick note to let you know we had a fantastic time on holiday, all places visited were great as were the hotels in particular the hotel on the Cayes and the jungle lodge. All flights and transfers went smoothly and it is somewhere we would like to visit again in the future, all guides throught the holiday were excellent, thanks for you help in making the arrangements. We just wanted to say Thank you for organising such a great trip for us! We had a brilliant time! I didn’t give Elizabeth (in Tikal) her feedback form but please can you pass on to the company that she was excellent! In fact she was our favourite guide! She’s so laid back, helpful, but always on time (early in fact) for picking us up, a really lovely lady. I am back at work and am up to my eyes in things at the moment, everything was absolutely superb, the holiday just perfect it is very difficult to describe in words how wonderful it really was. I have never been so depressed about returning home from a vacation and I'm finding it very difficult to focus at work. In addition, I think we have made some good friends. We were fortunate enough to be there during Simon and Chris' (I'm sure you know who I'm talking about) stay and we had an absolute blast with them, Chris and his girlfriend. Chris is a superb host and a great guy. All of the pieces seemed to fit. It also appears that I unwittingly talked to the best person about booking this trip, you. I was talking to Simon about different ways to get out to Central America and he recommended that I book my vacation through you. Of course, I already had. I will most certainly be a repeat customer on my next journey to Central America (hopefully within the next couple of years). There are many other things we would like to do, but I think that this vacation will be very difficult to beat. If you have a mailing list, please keep me on it.
